7) Make sure that theAC power switch at the rear of the DV2T is in the OFF

position.Connectthepowercordtothesocketonthebackpaneloftheinstrument

andplugitintotheappropriateACline.ForCone/PlateModels,besurethatthe

toggleswitch,usedtoactivatetheelectronicgap,istotheleftposition.(Leftwhen

facingtheviscometer.)

Note: TheDV2Tmustbeearthgroundedtoensureagainstelectronic

failure!!

8) TurnthepowerswitchtotheONpositionandallowtheviscometertowarmupfor

10minutesbeforeperformingautozero.

10)If appropriate, connect USB cable (DVP-202) to USB port for connection of

DV2TtoPCorprinter.
