WhenusingastandardBrookelddigitalViscometerorRheometer,eachspindlehasa
twodigitentrycodewhichisenteredviathekeypadontheDV2T.Theentrycodeallows
theDV2TtocalculateViscosity,ShearRateandShearStressvaluesandcanalsobe
calculatedwhenusingcoaxialcylindergeometry(SSA,ULA,Thermosel,DAA,etc.)and
cone/plate geometry.
Each spindle has two constants which are used in these calculations. The Spindle
MultiplierConstant(SMC)usedforviscosityandshearstresscalculations,andtheShear
RateConstant(SRC),usedforshearrateandshearstresscalculations.Notethatwhere
SRC=0,noshearrate/shearstresscalculationsaredoneandthedatadisplayedis
zero(0)forthesefunctions.
